I posted a while ago about an opportunity at Kent ISD. They were not able to host the LEAP Lead Empower Assist Parents) Conference this spring, however, there are virtual opportunities for parents to learn about many of the same topics as they support their child with special needs. On Tuesday, May 12, at 7:00 pm, Autism Support of Kent County will host a virtual workshop led by local special needs attorney Dan Blauw. Dan will discuss the ins and outs of guardianship, legal planning, SSI, Medicaid, and more.
