Robin Skrbina
M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Hi there!
My name is Robin! I graduated from the University of Michigan with Bachelor's degrees in English and Psychology. I taught middle school Language Arts for three and half years in Dearborn, Michigan, while also completing a Master's degree in Education. I have teaching certifications in English, psychology, and English as a second language. Although I absolutely loved my time as a teacher, this experience motivated me to seek out additional education in the area of speech language pathology in order to better support students with growth, participation, confidence, and engagement in their learning. I moved out to Grand Rapids to complete a Master's program in speech-language pathology at Grand Valley and have been practicing as an SLP in public schools in the Grand Rapids area since graduating in December 2023. As an SLP, I have experience working with articulation/phonological disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, and autism spectrum disorders with pediatric populations. I am passionate about helping my clients find joy in communicating and learning. I love the mission at Rockford Speech Therapy and am so thankful to be a part of this team! In my free time, I love trying new recipes, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
