I'm Maria! I'm a bilingual (Spanish/English) speech-language pathologist who has been practicing for eight years. I have experience working in schools, home health, outpatient rehabilitation, and private practice. I love being an SLP! I specialize in bilingualism, bilingual language development, ​​Autism, AAC, Complex Communication Disorders, Pediatric Receptive and Expressive Language, Phonology/Articulation, Motor Speech Disorders, and Social/Pragmatic Language Disorders. I am passionate about neurodiversity-affirming therapy and culturally and linguistically appropriate service delivery.

I recently moved back to Grand Rapids, my hometown, from Wilmington, NC. I live in GR with my husband, a 7-month-old son, and our Australian Shepherd, Daisy. I am so excited to be back in Michigan! I love everything outdoors and enjoy camping, hiking, running, and kayaking.
