Jess Fitzek
OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Hi there!
Hi, I'm Jessica! Most people call me Jess, but I answer to Jess and Jessica - whichever you prefer. I'm an NBCOT Certified and Michigan State Licensed Occupational Therapist who graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. My husband and I relocated back to Michigan in 2022 after living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for five years. We have planted our roots and grown our family in Rockford, and I am passionate about serving this community. I have experience working in the inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings with adult and pediatric populations. I have experience helping clients with many challenges and diagnoses, including sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, emotional and behavioral disturbances, ADHD/ADD, and infant/toddler development challenges. I am passionate about enhancing my client's strengths and improving challenging areas to facilitate functional independence in all areas of life. It is important to me to build lasting and strong therapeutic relationships with my clients and their families to improve outcomes toward the goals set.
I love living in Rockford with my husband, our son, and our two Boston Terriers. Some activities I enjoy are spending time outside, exercising, traveling, hiking, gardening, and reading. It is such a joy being a part of the Rockford community. I am so excited to meet you and learn how I can help support you and your family through occupational therapy interventions!
