I'm Marissa. I'm a bilingual (English-Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist and Owner of Rockford Speech Therapy. My love for speech and language drove me to open a clinic that will serve the community's needs in ways that best work for them. I have experience working in pediatric outpatient clinics, public schools, preschools, and in-home settings. I enjoy working closely with families to help parents/caregivers better implement speech therapy strategies into their everyday routines. I'm bilingual in Spanish and have training in linguistics and specialized training working with bilingual families. ​I currently live in Rockford with my husband. I'm a Step-mama, fur-mama, and mama to two kids under two! ​
